About our company

Black Cat Productions is located in St. Catharines, Ontario. Black Cat Productions provides advertising, marketing, and videography services. Black Cat Productions uses HDV equipment and editing suites to produce its projects.

Our video and graphic editing suites are outfitted with Adobe Creative Suite 4 for digital video and graphic development. Adobe CS4 allows for the development of professional high definition video graphics, fully functional DVD and Blu-ray menus, titles, motion graphics, and other digital and new media content. CS4 programs include Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Encore, Flash Professional, and more.

In house video production equipment includes editing suites, professional 1080i high definition Canon HDV camera, professional JVC DV production camera, tripods, microphones, and lighting equipment. For more extensive projects that surpass our in-house facilities, we are able to rent any required equipment or facilities from local industry suppliers.

 

Doug Hagar

A fun-loving political and entertainment junkie, Doug brings a unique view and creative element to Black Cat Productions. He has a background in photography and video production in addition to a Masters in political science. Doug also works part time as a researcher with the Niagara Community Observatory at Brock University.

Tommy Eldridge

A golf-addict by day, hockey-addict by night, Tommy constantly follows the happenings of the PGA and the Montreal Canadiens. His background in film, television and acting means that he is always up for a chat about the latest movies and has an excellent base of knowledge to draw upon for new projects.

The Kitty

A motivated leader who has a passion for sleeping 20 hours per day and chasing the dog around the house. The Kitty also has an unrelentless desire to constantly learn as exhibited by sleeping on textbooks, notebooks and papers consistently.
